Duet 3 Expansion Board 3HC

Description

The Duet 3 Expansion board is a CAN-FD connected, high current, full-featured expansion board for the Duet 3 mainboards. Pair one of these expansion boards with a Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC, Duet 3 Mainboard 6XD, or a Duet 3 Mini 5+ to control 3 high current stepper drivers, 3 high current loads, 6 fans, and 6 IO channels. Further 3HC expansion boards, tool boards, and 1XD expansion boards can be added to the CAN-FD bus if necessary to complete your machine design.

FEATURES

• Processor: Powerful 32bit Atmel ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller running at up to 120MHz.
• Connectivity: CAN-FD BUS for connection to Duet 3 Mainboards (compatible with the Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC, Duet 3 Mainboard 6XD, and the Duet 3 Mini 5+).
• Stepper Drivers: 3x TMC2160/5160 high-current drivers with the latest Trinamic features. Maximum motor current 6.3A peak per phase (4.45A RMS).
• High Current Outputs: 3x 5A PWM outputs for extruders and similar.
• Medium Current Outputs: 6 PWM controllable outputs for fans or similar. 3 of these support 4-wire fans including tacho reading.
• O: 6 I/O connectors with 3.3V output signal level and 30V-tolerant inputs.
• Temperature Measurement: 3 thermistor/PT1000 inputs. Support for two temperature daughterboards for up to 4 PT100 or thermocouple sensors.
• Supply Voltage: 12-48V v1.02 and later; 12-32V v1.01 and earlier.
